Background:

For grades K-8, the Educational Services Department has prioritized two key strategies from the Vision 2026 Strategic Plan: Learning Acceleration and Balanced Assessment. The primary focus for Learning Acceleration has been securing high-quality instructional materials for Tier 1 instruction. For Balanced Assessment, the major effort has centered around implementing the FastBridge assessment system. Both Learning Acceleration and Balanced Assessment are essential components of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). |
